Tecmo Koei released more information for Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate which comes out for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 3, alongside a new trailer, showing off new characters and new costumes.

Not only can costumes earned in the Dead or Alive 5 be transferred to this new version, but there are all kinds of new costumes, including costume sets for multiple characters, allowing you to color coordinate an entire team. Remember, color coordination increases your damage by 15%*.

Survival Mode is back, and this time, like in classic DoA titles, items will drop increasing your health or your score. The Tutorials have been expanded with more lessons and new Combo Challenges. A Team Fight mode has been added, which one of my personal favorite kinds of versus mode. In this mode, you create a team of a select number of characters, and try to knock out the opponent’s characters.

Preorder bonuses have been announced to exist at Gamestop and Amazon, but I could not find what these bonuses are as of press time.

Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate is rated M for Mature, mostly because of butts, and is currently retailing for $39.99. It’s also coming out as Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate Core Fighters on the PlayStation Network on September 3 as a free to play game, where characters and modes can be bought piecemeal. Core Fighters has full network compatibility with the full game.

*I swear to god this is true
