Happy New Year! Happy New Site!

Happy 2013 everyone! We’re back with a new season, a new crew, and a new website!

Because of this momentous occasion, we’re happy to welcome you to our brand new website. We’ve been working on this quietly since July, and we’re still continuously tweaking things in the background, making sure it has the features that you’ll , and we’re finally able to show you the fruits of our labor at the start of the new year.

With that said, we’re still ironing out the kinks here and there, uploading episodes from the previous season, content from previous iterations of the website, and giving them a new home.  For the time being, we would like to share some neat features of the site while you’re enamored by my writing skills. No, really, you’re enamored right?

  • Comments!
You can finally comment on our website! Yes, we get it: We hate making accounts for websites just to post comment. It’s lame. So after researching and testing countless other commenting software (not to mention signing up tons of accounts), we felt that Facebook integration would be the best way to allow our fans to comment on our content.
  • Learn more about our crew than ever before.
With our podcasts and Twitter accounts, you’ve managed to get to know us a teensy bit better. But that’s just the beginning. We want you guys to know us really well. We’ll be setting up links to our Raptr.com accounts and other services that you may see us in. We want to provide an unprecedented level of transparency with our site and our show, and you can be sure that we’ll be thinking along these lines when we’re coming up with new features to provide you.
  • We’re back on Twitter!
Yes! We’re back on Twitter! Follow @gamerhorizon now and don’t miss all the gaming shenanigans!
  • Like our Facebook Fan Page!
If you’re a regular Facebook user, don’t miss a single update and Like our Facebook Fan Page!

I think it should be said that we’ve got a lot more in store with Gamer Horizon that we’ve led people to believe, but that wouldn’t amount to anything had we not had you, the fans, to support us along the way. So while we get this site ready for the start of the new season this February, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for visiting the website, checking up on us on Twitter, and making sure that the fire we sparked last year with Gamer Horizon continued to burn until now. In the words of Karen Carpenter, “We’ve only just begun.”
