DmC Devil May Cry is out today and Capcom’s got a launch trailer to hype up its release!

In case you didn’t already know, this newest iteration in the series features a much younger Dante and follows his journey in becoming the bad ass that we’ve come to know and love. Yes, I can talk about all the angst and pain that he’s suffered through growing up, being a child of a demon and an angel and all, but that doesn’t really show you the care and thought that the developers put in this new game. DmC Devil May Cry was developed by the folks at Ninja Theory, best known for Heavenly Sword and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and it’s getting a ton of really good reviews and press. And, as if there weren’t enough endorsements, we already know what series creator Hideki Kamiya thinks about this game.

While the game didn’t initially hit my radar when the first bits of information got released, it’s apparent that Ninja Theory is passionate with keeping DmC Devil May Cry true to its series roots. The demo they released a few weeks back helped assure me that the game is in good hands and really helped quell any sort of doubts that I have with the direction of the series.
