Lobo Coming to Injustice: Gods Among Us May 7th

The first DLC character for Injustice: Gods Among Us, Lobo, will arrive on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U on May 7th. He will cost $5, and is included in the cost of the Season Pass.

Get a look here at how he plays:

It’s very difficult to judge just from the trailer, but it looks like he has the ability to close distance very quickly using his chains, which should allow him to rush down those pesky Deathstrokes. I’m also trying to figure out his guns. It seems like he might be able to change or reload ammo, which is similar to Green Arrow. You’ll also notice he stands at one point with his gun at the ready. Either he can delay a shot, or he can enter some kind of stance with his gun, where he can do some interesting things from that stance, such as aim up, down, or straight.

What’s very clear is that his super isn’t the flashiest out of all seen in Injustice: Gods Among Us. It is quite insulting, though.

This trailer also shows off a new costume for Batman. This costume is free, and downloading it also downloads a compatibility pack for Injustice: Gods Among Us, so you can fight against other people who have Lobo, even if you haven’t purchased him. Mortal Kombat used a similar costume incentive to distribute compatibility packs for its DLC characters. Of course, if you buy Lobo, you’ll also get this costume.

  1. Looks cool, just hope it won’t come with a “compatible patch” like MK9 and just make it a mandatory patch or many gamers are going to be upset.

      1. Yikes, there is a time for option and there is a time to make it mandatory. Free costumes will not persuade some to d/l compatible patches, I see many gamers get very upset about this, and it make sense, you pay money for the DLC so you can play it online, and then you can’t because someone refuse to d/l the patch, $5 down the drain…
