Being fanatical gamers ourselves, we like to talk about upcoming games a lot here at Gamer Horizon. But sometimes, a game slips us by and we’re always surprised that we missed it. Because we feel that every single gamer should know what’s coming out during the week, we thought we’d create a new segment that addresses this specifically. We’re calling it On The Horizon.
It’s February 5, 2013 and, after that long game release drought last week, we got quite a doozy in store for the coming days. This week will see the release of Dead Space 3, Fire Emblem Awakening, and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. There’s also only one pinball table coming for Pinball Arcade, compared to the usual two, but it’s the long anticipated and Kickstarter supported reproduction of the classic Twilight Zone table. For PC and PlayStation 3 fans of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the long awaited Skyrim: Dragonborn DLC is coming to those platforms.
Personally, that’s a lot of gaming in this whole week. If you’re still undecided about any of these games, look for Ted’s review of the Twilight Zone table for Pinball Arcade, Chris’ Dead Space 3 review in the next few days. The Twilight Zone table, which Ted is checking out, will cost $4.99… the going price of two tables. Chris has been a huge fan of the Dead Space series, even going so far as to play through Dead Space: Extraction, so I’m quite curious to see what he thinks of it. As for me, I’ve been looking forward to a new Sly Cooper game since… well, the last one came out, and I’m hoping that the new developers honor the work that Sucker Punch put into the series. The best part about this game so far for me? It’s cross compatible with the Vita, so you bet I’ll be reviewing both versions!
So, my dear readers, are you guys getting any of these games this week? Let us know in the comments below!
