Bioshock Infinite False Shepard Trailer

Bioshock Infinite: WelcomeWith Bioshock Infinite set to launch on March 26, Irrational Games and 2K Games have released the “False Shepard” trailer. Former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt is in more debt than he can handle. He is offered a job to rescue a woman named Elizabeth who is held prisoner on a floating island called Columbia. Unable to refuse, Booker DeWitt and Elizabeth must work together if they want to escape. The two are pursued by the Songbird, Elizabeth’s jailer and only companion for as long as she can remember. The Songbird has watched over Elizabeth ever since she was a child and will do anything to bring her back. Together the two will fight through the city streets, move from island to island using the high-speed Sky-lines and take on giant Zeppelins as Columbia moves through the clouds. Booker can gain special powers by using Vigors which are similar to plasmids and are specifically engineered to give the user an alternate means of attack. Strengthen the bonds with Elizabeth and enhance these abilities even further with her world-altering control over the environment.

Bioshock Infinite: Patriot FightOriginally built by the US Government in the late 1800s, the city of Columbia served as a floating world’s fair designed to promote American Exceptionalism. The city traveled the globe from continent to continent to show every nation the success and might of the American experiment. Unfortunately, Columbia wasn’t just a floating city on a mission of good will; it secretly carried weapons for “defense purposes.” Internal political strife and turmoil have caused Columbia to secede from America. The city eventually disappeared and hasn’t been seen until now.

Bioshock Infinite is set to release on March 26, 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Gamer Horizon will have a full review on the game after its launch.
