Capcom and Dontnod Entertainment have released the latest trailer for their upcoming memory remixing game Remember Me. What happens when human memories are digitized, bought and sold? In Remember Me, the Memorize corporation stores the memories of Neo Paris’ inhabitants as a form of surveillance. As a memory hunter named Nilin, players will steal and alter memories, changing their target’s recollection of events. Nothing is safe or sacred, not even past experiences.
Because of her abilities, Nilin is arrested and sent to prison. She escapes and is out for revenge against her former employer, Memorize, for what they did to her. She joins forces with a group called the Errorists who also plan on destroying Memorize. During her quest for revenge, Nilin faces a variety of different enemies including mutants, S.A.B.R.E. enforcers and even battles in a memory hunter duel. Combat in the game is heavily melee focused, and players will be able to set up and create their own custom combos to defeat opponents.
Remember Me is currently scheduled for a June 4th release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in North America, and June 7th in Europe.
