With Lobo’s release just a few days away in Injustice: Gods Among Us, there has been the talk of “Who’s next?” According to leaked screenshots, the answer is Batgirl. This information is also corroborated on Mortal Kombat and Injustice: Gods Among Us fansite Test Your Might, where a list of voice actors for the Brazillian version of Injustice also happened to include the names of the actors voicing characters who are not available to play as just yet.
There’s no hard release date set for Batgirl, but that splash art all but confirms the release. The same source that predicted Batgirl also predicted Superman’s nemesis Zod, and Mortal Kombat guest Scorpion as the other two DLC characters. This source is 2 for 2 so far, so these sound like guaranteed picks. There’s no word on anything related to gameplay for Batgirl, and I couldn’t even begin to speculate.
Batgirl will cost $5 on all platforms, but she is also included in the cost of the Season Pass. However, like other games on the Wii U, the DLC Season Pass is not available.
