Today Square Enix announced that they will be broadcasting their presentation of events and games during the 2013 E3 Expo at the Los Angeles convention center June 11th through 13th. The broadcast event is dubbed “Square Enix Presents” and will offer a wide range of programming for a diverse crowd. Viewers of the event can expect to see titles Square Enix will be launching in the near and distant future including titles for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Wii U. The presentation will also include developer interviews and game demos of soon to be released titles.
“SQUARE ENIX will be showcasing a terrific lineup of games this E3 Expo,” said Akio Oofuji, marketing director, SQUARE ENIX (Japan). “Square Enix Presents is a new way we can engage on a more meaningful and personal level with our community and fans and share with them the spectacle and excitement of E3.”
The “Square Enix Presents” presentation is meant to reach a wider audience and show the public what Square Enix has to offer. E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is an event held every year and is only accessible to the media, games press and industry insiders. Square Enix and its decision to present itself this way follows in the footsteps of Nintendo and their Nintendo Direct presentation. For all those not attending E3 Expo 2013, they can catch “Square Enix Presents” on YouTube. Square Enix has yet to announce who will be hosting the event or to provide a program schedule.
