PlayStation Plus Update for 5/28: BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend

BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend for Vita is this week’s PlayStation Plus title. This is the latest version of the BlazBlue franchise, and it has all previous characters included, and a new character, Relius Clover. There’s some DLC available for purchase, including voice packs. There’s also some cross compatibility with the PlayStation 3 version, should you own it. The Vita download of this game is a whopping 3.3 GB, so clear out some space if you have to, or remember that so long as you attempt to download the game, it’s yours to download again for free, so long as you are a PlayStation Plus member.

Normally, I don’t like fighting games too much on the Vita, but BlazBlue only uses 4 buttons, so I think it’s a perfect fit. It’s possible that publisher Aksys will reveal BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma for a home release at E3. This is a great opportunity to get the current definitive version of BlazBlue at zero cost, so you can be prepared for the next installment.

This week’s discounts include Draw Slasher on Vita, Hamilton’s Great Adventure on PlayStation 3, and Germinator on PlayStation 3 (The Vita version is free at the moment).

Zombie Tycoon IIĀ will be leaving PlayStation Plus, and the discounts on the various Ultimate Editions will be ending.
