What is a man… but a miserable little pile of secrets. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is the epic conclusion in the life of a man who was once called Gabriel Belmont. Dracula is his new name now and revenge is the only thing he is interested in. This new trailer that is being showed at Gamescom in Germany is the same video that I saw at E3 a few months ago is Los Angeles. I was also fortunate enough to demo the game and let me tell you, the game looks and plays good. Dracula has two new weapons at his disposal along with the Blood Whip that are seen in the video. The Void Sword and the Chaos Claws are the two new light and dark weapons for regaining life and breaking an enemies guard while fighting. Developed by Mercury Steam and published by Konami, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 launches Feb. 25 2014 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Another thing that impressed me about this new Castlevania is the music. You can just listen to the music in the video or go back and play Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and you will notice the same epic score… and it is epic. It’s one of the best music scores I have heard in a long time for a video game. It trumps the monks chanting in Halo any day and will stick with me for a long time.
