At the Japanese Sony press conference, a new Vita model that is thinner, lighter, with a longer battery life, uses micro USB, and that comes in colors, was announced.

Also announced was a 64 GB memory card. While none of this is confirmed for other countries, they WILL make their way here as a matter of course.
