While it might not be a surprise for some, this clearly outlines Disney’s strategy for the title. By releasing Disney Infinity in August, well ahead of its competitions’ release (it’s Skylanders Swap Force, for those keeping tabs), they can increase their mindshare for their product as they head towards the holiday season with a new set of figures and, hopefully, play sets in tow. Either way, congratulations are in order!
