On The Horizon: Grand Theft Auto V

Happy Monday, everyone! Welcome back to another exciting edition of On The Horizon! This week’s gonna be super busy in terms of games, because only two games are coming out… and one of them just happens to be the long awaited Grand Theft Auto V! There’s also one other game coming out this week, but let’s drill down and see what we have in store this week, shall we?

As already mentioned, Grand Theft Auto V is out tomorrow, with GameStops across the United States opening at midnight tonight. I’m personally thinking of showing up to one of these events, but we’ll see if that actually happens. Are you picking it up on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3? Either way, you can check out the latest trailer for the game here.

The other game coming out is actually another vehicle based game. It’s Hot Wheels: World’s Best Driver, and it’s going to be out on 3DS, Wii U, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. I’m not going to pretend that I actually know a lot about this game, so here’s a trailer in case you’re curious.

This week, we’re got a special Top 5 we’re releasing that celebrates the release of Grand Theft Auto V, which outlines the crew’s favorite Grand Theft Auto games of all time. You can also expect a review of Saints Row IV from me this week which, all things considered, couldn’t be timed any better (sarcasm, of course). We also have your weekly Roundhouse Roundup with Ted and some write up from Sean this week. Either way, it’s going to be a busy week for everyone, so make sure you’re subscribed to our site so you won’t miss any of the updates we’ll be posting and we’ll see you all later… if you’re not playing Grand Theft Auto V, that is.

  1. GTA V for the PS3 for me, getting it tomorrow, and speaking of the game, I guess Wii U is a hd console for playing Nintendo games, since GTAV is not on Wii U, Reggie’s lost…
