This week’s What’s Up Weekend is all about IndieCade! We are all looking forward to seeing some of the more than 200 creative and interesting indie games that will be on display this weekend!
I’ve got only a few more days to beat Grand Theft Auto V before Disgaea D2 takes over all my free time, so I’m hoping to play a bit of that this weekend when I’m not too busy with IndieCade coverage! It’s going to be interesting going from playing the most expensive game ever created to checking out low budget indie titles. Hopefully creativity and passion will triumph over dollars!
On Saturday, I’ll be going to see NYHC legends, Judge play in Orange County with my girlfriend and a couple of friends. Then come Sunday I plan on hitting up Indiecade, hopefully to see the horror game, Daylight using the Oculus Rift. Whatever free time I have will be spent playing GTA Online (provided I can even get on) and I plan on starting the 7 hour Friday the 13th documentary, Crystal Lake Memories.
In reality I will probably do half of that, but seeing Judge for sure!
INDIECADE! Is there really anything else that needs to be said?! I can’t wait to see all the various indie titles this weekend and catch up with the rest of the crew! If only I could actually finish my Saints Row IV review at some point, which has become the butt of jokes here on the site. Oh well, there’s always next week right? 😉
I’ll be going to IndieCade from Friday to Sunday. I went last year as a fan, and now I’ll be going as media. It’s interesting to see where I’ve gone in just one year. I don’t have any games I’m looking forward to at IndieCade, but this is actually a good thing. I’m in the right mindset to be surprised and wowed. Just like at EVO 2013, when I got my hands on Samurai Gunn and proceeded to lose my mind, there could be something here that has me screaming to the heavens. We’ll just see.
I know I should be finishing Saints Row IV but I’m playing Alien Rage on the PC and it’s actually good. So, I’m going to try and finish that and I also started playing Mass Effect 3 again.
That’s it for this week’s What’s Up Weekend! What games are you interested in at IndieCade this year? Let us know in the comments below and we’ll try to check them out!
