Hey everyone! It’s been a while! Missed me? Sorry if I’ve been gone for a couple of months, but life has been CRAZY busy for me as of late. No, no, it’s got nothing to do with the next gen/now current gen systems, but I can assure you that with me back in the saddle things are going to be pretty interesting for the Gamer Horizon crew these next few weeks and months. But first, let’s tackle the issue of what’s coming out this week!
Which is to say, not a lot. Unlike last year when games like Far Cry 3 came out in December, a lot of publishers and developers decided to just merely nudge a lot of their games to the first quarter of next year. In fact, imagine my surprise to learn just yesterday that South Park: The Stick of Truth wasn’t actually coming out on the 10th this week! FOR SHAME! MY LIFE IS RUINED!
This gives Aksys the stage this week with their brand new VITA title Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God. I ain’t going to pretend that I know anything about this game, but instead I’ll post this neat trailer for you to check out. As always, share your thoughts in the comments (because I already just did).
More importantly, the reason why you bought a Xbox One all this time is finally here… Peggle 2! Featuring more levels, more animals and characters, and more ball bouncing goodness, it’s more exclusive Peggle magic! See Peggle 2‘s next generation graphics bedazzle you with fantastic post processing and fast paced 60 frames per second gameplay that rivals Call of Duty! No, seriously. It’s Peggle. If this isn’t on your must-buy list, it should be. Like, right now. Here’s the trailer.
This week marks the return of all five Gamer Horizon crew members! We’ve got an article from me, which will either be about my time with Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, or my decision to actually replay through Persona 4 Golden a second time. Ari will be reviewing the latest Zelda game on the 3DS. Ted will be reviewing Battlefield 4. Sean will hopefully be done with Knack… unless its check points prevent him. And Chris will contribute something about his time with his PlayStation 4. Sounds like a packed week, yes? Well that’s just the beginning… because in the next coming weeks, we will be unveiling our Top Games of the Generation and, to ring in the new year, we will be announcing our Game of the Year! Exciting? Yes! It should be! So bookmark our site, comment on our articles, and let us know what you’re most looking forward to in the coming year and let’s talk games, shall we? See you around the site!
Nice, good hearing from you, Alex is back in action.
