Miguel has been a gamer ever since his parents bought the Nintendo Entertainment System and played Super Mario Bros. on it, instantly sparking his fascination with the world of video gaming. This led him to playing a variety of different genre-specific titles that made him appreciate the immense diversity that video games can offer to everyone.

His love of video games has also coincided with his love of anime, a combination that he finds goes hand in hand. Miguel has also been an adamant supporter for the growth of video games as a legitimate form of artistic expression in the same fashion that the elements of cinema entail.
