It’s the week of February 10, 2013, and we’ve got a brand new edition of On The Horizon for you today! First off, did any of you manage to pick up any of the games that were released last week? The staff here at Gamer Horizon are still playing through Dead Space 3. We also wanted to mention that we’ll be starting with our Fire Emblem Awakening play through this week as well. You can expect articles and reviews of these games in the coming days.

This week will see the release of Sega’s Aliens: Colonial Marines. This new title continues the story left off from James Cameron’s Aliens and is officially recognized as canon to the series. The game’s story is penned by Battlestar Galactica writers Bradley Thompson and David Weddle. We’ve included the Aliens: Colonial Marines Story Trailer below so you can check it out.

Also coming this week are two brand new characters for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. The roster will see the arrival of Kat from Gravity Rush and Emmett Graves from Starhawk. While not exactly needing newer characters from the PlayStation family, it’s still awesome to see that Sony’s supporting PSASBR and its community. We’ve included Kat and Emmet’s trailers below for your viewing pleasure.
