Konami has released a new Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance trailer personally cut by Hideo Kojima himself. Now, before any of you go off and start complaining about how long the video might be, it’s just under 7 minutes long. A departure from Kojima’s usual video lengths considering that the cut scenes in several Metal Gear Solid games have been between 10 to 30 minutes in length. This is just a trailer so it’s on the short side.
The trailer stars (Cyborg Ninja) Raiden who first appeared in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and later cameo-ed in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.” This is Raiden’s third outing in the Metal Gear franchise and his first solo outing as a lead character as he was considered by most as the co lead or best male support in a staring role in Metal Gear Solid 2. I’m actually reviewing this game and will be delivering an impression on the game later this week, with a full review the following week. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance comes out today so I’m still playing as I write this post. Seeing this trailer has gotten me pumped as to what the rest of the game will hold, and I can’t wait to get back in and finish.
