On The Horizon – Remember Me

Welcome back to On The Horizon, Gamer Horizon’s weekly update on the week’s new releases and new content for the site. This Tuesday, June 4th in the United States and Friday, June 7th in Europe, Remember Me will be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Developed by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Capcom, Remember Me features a lot of exploration and combat, including stealth, melee and platforming elements.

Neo-Paris, 2084. Take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people’s minds and steal or even alter their memories. Arrested, and with her memory wiped clean Nilin must now set out on a mission to rediscover her identity.

Then on Friday, June 7th, Penny Arcade’s On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 4 will be released for PC and Xbox 360 (through the Indie Games Channel). This 4th episode of the action adventure series is also the finale, and is the largest of all of the episodes.

In addition to Gabe and Tycho as the lead characters, players can fill their party with strange and powerful monsters!  They can also combine monsters with trainers for the ultimate fighting force!

Finally on Sunday, June 9th, Nintendo will be releasing Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the 3DS. This one is sure to consume countless hours for Animal Crossing fans everywhere.

There are no points or levels, just an amazing array of sights and sounds, places and activities…all yours to explore. Spend your time passing new ordinances—or going fishing. Hang out at a coffee shop or visit a tropical island. It’s all up to you.

Your game is what you make it—and personalizing your world is part of the fun. Create cool patterns for clothing or furniture, build new structures in your town, design gardens and museum displays, and so much more.

Time passes in the world of Animal Crossing just as it does in real life. Celebrate holidays and see the seasons change. Meet new visitors or get gifts from your neighbors. There’s always something special to look forward to.
