Murdered: Soul Suspect is an action action adventure thriller that follows the death and afterlife of murdered detective Ronan O’Connor. Ronan is a detective with a checkered past who thinks he’s invincible up until he meets an untimely death at the hands of a brutal killer. Stuck in the limbo world of ‘Dusk’, Ronan must find a way to catch his killer. Unfortunately for Ronan, he is unable to directly communicate with the living, including the detectives who are working his case. Fortunately, being dead has its advantages; Ronan is able to read the minds of the living and influence their thoughts with his new found supernatural powers.
While stuck in Dusk, Ronan is unable to leave the town of Salem, Massachusetts and must interrogate the ghosts of the town’s former inhabitants. In order to catch his killer, Ronan must piece together clues by searching Salem’s old wooden houses, narrow streets, Gothic churches, and mental asylums. Being a spirit, Ronan is not free from danger. He must battle demonic spirits who are after his soul while searching for clues. The player must help Ronan save his soul and uncover the shocking truth about who was responsible for his death. The trailer for this game looks cool and has me intrigued as to what else is going on and who the killer is. I can’t wait to see more of this game at E3 and what the game play is like.
Murdered: Soul Suspect is set to launch early 2014 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. It’s strange to see a publisher release info about a game without releasing the developer info as well. Square Enix will release more info about Murdered: Soul Suspect including the developer name later this week. Stay tuned to Gamer Horizon as we bring you the latest gaming news.

This reminds me TOO MUCH of Ghost Trick… still, the vibe reminds me of L.A. Noire, which I actually liked despite a lot of people’s complaints.
