Good day everyone and welcome to a brand new edition of On The Horizon, where we talk about what we’re going to be up to this week in the world of gaming and beyond!

Guess what we’re up to this week? Yep, E3 2013 is here and in full effect! All of Downtown Los Angeles is celebrating the return of the world’s biggest video game convention and this year promises to be the most memorable, most bombastic, and most incredibly awesome E3 of recent memory. Thankfully, you’ve got us to cover the event in our own special way. If you haven’t seen yet, we’ve been posting a lot of things on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts and we’d recommend you check them out.

While you’re getting caught up with our shenanigans throughout the day, we also wanted to remind you that awaiting the other side is the long awaited Naughty Dog title The Last of Us. It’s already getting a bunch of perfect scores all over the place, but if you want our assessment of the game, be sure to tune in over the next couple of weeks or so and find out what our editors think about. Yes, editors… a number of us here are planning to pick it up. For the time being, while we wait, here’s the story trailer for said game.

That’s, of course, the now. Our current reality is that this week will be really focused on E3 2013, and we wanted to share with you our appointment schedules for all days of the show.
