Happy Friday and welcome to another exciting edition of What’s Up Weekend, a place where the Gamer Horizon crew signs off for the weekend and does things that may or may not have something to do with our site! As I’ve mentioned before, weekends are important to the Gamer Horizon crew, which is why we tend to avoid posting articles on the site during that time. We know this is the opposite of how you might think websites should function, but with only the five of us working on this site and our focus on quality content, we’d much rather take some time off and get recharged so that we can come back on Monday and deliver some incredible new content on the site to be released during the week! That being said, we have an awesome surprise for you when you come back to our site this Monday and are welcomed by next week’s On The Horizon. Be sure to look forward to that!
At any rate, here’s what’s up on everyone’s agenda this weekend!

I got the apartment! So this weekend I will be running around in circles like a chicken without a head figuring out what’s going where and collecting boxes… you know, the usual moving stuff. If I find time for games, I’ll play more of The Last of Us. For an action game, it’s huge! I’ve also started playing Deponia, a point and click adventure by Daedalic. It’s got a good sense of humor and some bizarre puzzles, a sequel called Chaos on Deponia and a 2nd sequel on the way called Goodbye Deponia. Hope I don’t injure my pointer finger with all this clicking!

Sean
Hopefully working more on my screenplay some more. Gamewise I’m playing Alan Wake and Journey. Sunday my girlfriend is shooting a music video with some friends of mine so I’ll be there for that.

Ted
Going to my mom’s house to pick up my Dance Dance Revolution pads, and look for my old PlayStation 2. My girlfriend has been bit by the DDR bug. I don’t have the heart to tell her that my HDTV is going to make the game soooo laggy, and I cannot remember what setting I have to set to compensate.

Chris
Playing some Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, and Saints Row: The Third. I’m liking Saints Row and finding it hard to put it down. Other than that, just relaxing.

Now that Dragon’s Crown is officially in the hands of gamers all over the United States, I’ll be joining up with a number of them in our quest to vanquish the evil Dragon looking thing at the end of the game. I know he has some sort of name, but I’ve completely forgotten about it! If I have the time, I’d like to continue where I left off in Persona 3 Portable. You see, I’ve never beaten Persona 3 and have had Persona 3 FES since I bought Persona 4. Unfortunately, I played Persona 4 before I played Persona 3 FES and it’s been difficult to go back since. Persona 3 Portable applies a lot of what Atlus learned while developing Persona 4 and it makes the former a little bit more accessible. It’s icing in the cake too, I suppose, that I feel that the portable format is perfect for long RPGs such as these. On a side note, if you got Dragon’s Crown, add me on PSN and lets play: EternityInBlack.
And there you have it! Another week of Gamer Horizon is in the books! Let us know what you’re going to be playing over the weekend in the comments below!
