Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle sells 425k copies in Japan, but I’ve no idea how it plays

Good on Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle to sell 425,000 copies in Japan! I just wish I knew how it played. Who would’ve thought that Cyber Connect, the folks responsible for the .hack series, is capable of making something like this? In case some of y’all are unfamiliar with Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, it’s a series that’s been around for a long time comprised of characters named with either direct or subtle singer/band name references. They fight using “Stands,” which is why in the trailer above, you see the characters often fighting through these.

We did see a Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure game released on consoles a while back, which was a port of the old PlayStation/Dreamcast/arcade game that Capcom developed more than a decade ago, but this one seems to be a bit more close to something like Tekken that the classic 2D Capcom fighter. If I had money to get this game, I would. Color me interested.
