Welcome back to What’s Up Weekend! It’s been a bit of an odd week here at Gamer Horizon as a few members of the crew have been tied up with “real world” distractions. Hopefully the weekend will provide a few spare hours to actually get some games in and do some writing!

Ari

This weekend I’ll be finishing up Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl and trying to get a review together before the game comes out next Tuesday! I’ve already finished the main story; now I just have to spend some time with the post game. I’ll also be sneaking in a couple hours of Grand Theft Auto V here and there if I can manage it… but that might be tough considering I’ll be at Six Flags on Saturday, which will take a big bite out of my weekend.

With my girlfriend out of town for the weekend it’s just me, my dogs and GTA V. I plan on waking up Saturday and playing until I pass out.

Tonight, me, Chris, Ted and a bunch of my friends are going to brave Halloween Horror Nights! It’s going to be fun, but I’m sad that there’s no video game tie in here in LA. Orlando’s got Resident Evil. But, at least we have The Walking Dead! Also, I’m going to try and get my review done (finally!) of Saints Row IV and play through parts of the game again for my review. It’s actually been a while since I last played it, so I want to reacquaint myself with the game.

I’ll be hitting up Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. I’ll also be taking my guinea pigs to the park, and I’ll enjoy some Vita gaming while I’m there. I’d like to finally beat Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and take it off of my memory card to make room for whatever I might get for free on PlayStation Plus in October.

I’m going to try and get back into Saint’s Row IV, but I just bought Alien Rage on Steam so I’ll be playing that as well.

 

So there you have it… Grand Theft Auto V is out and apparently two of us are still playing Saints Row IV! What will you be playing this weekend?
