Microsoft, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics announced the Tomb Raider #Reborn scavenger hunt experience for the Xbox 360 console. Starting today, Fans can use social media to earn hundreds of prizes, including a chance to win a custom branded Tomb Raider Xbox 360 entertainment system.
Participants must capture a Tomb Raider moment and post them to Twitter using the hashtag #reborn and directed at the @tombraider Twitter account. These moments can be photos of a Tomb Raider Billboard, an ad on the side of a bus, a banner on a website, or a short video clip from a trailer or a scene from the game using the Vine app. The only rule is that all images or videos captured must contain the #reborn hashtag to enter. Every day, Crystal Dynamics will choose their favorites to win a series of Tomb Raider customized Xbox 360 prizes.
- 1 grand prize winner will receive a custom Tomb Raider Xbox 360 console with a copy of the game and an official Tomb Raider Xbox 360 Limited Edition Wireless Controller
- 10 second place winners will receive a copy of the game and an official Tomb Raider Xbox 360 Limited Edition Wireless Controller
- 25 third place winners will receive a 12-month Xbox Live Gold subscription
The Tomb Raider #reborn promotion officially kicks off at 10:00pm March 4th accompanied by the Spike TV Tomb Raider Special, “The Final Hours A Story of Survival.” The show will air on Spike TV at 12:37am Eastern and on Xbox Live tonight at 10:00pm PST. Hosts Geoff Keighley and Camilla Luddington will go behind the scenes for the making of Tomb Raider in the final hours before its global release on March 5.
